Suboxone Treatment Program

Buprenorphine, the active ingredient in Suboxone, is a long-acting opiate used to treat opioid dependence. Its main purpose is to prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce opioid craving.

The Center for Addiction Services and Treatment Suboxone treatment program was created to provide opiate agonist therapy for people who are addicted to opiates. Operating in a safe and friendly environment, the program is geared toward treatment and recovery. All clients must be willing to demonstrate a willingness to abstain from all mood-altering chemicals and to participate in the program until they have reached a successful level of completion that has been determined by their treatment team. Clients must be 16 years of age or older, have adequate transportation and be able to meet the required time and financial commitments.

A handbook outlining all of the criteria for admission as well as the details of the program and a fee schedule is available upon request. Contact the Center for Addiction Services and Treatment at 501-526-8400 for more information.
