Trauma Focused Treatment
The following clinical services provide trauma-focused treatment to address trauma and trauma-related disorders.
The Child Study Center (CSC) Outpatient Therapy Clinic serves children throughout the entire state of Arkansas, from infancy up to the age of 18. The CSC has highly trained specialists who can provide personalized treatment for children who have experienced trauma including:
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
- Child-Parent Psychotherapy

Seeking to Reinforce my Identity and Values Everyday (STRIVE)
Seeking to Reinforce my Identity and Values Everyday (STRIVE) is a school and community-based mental health outreach program that serves students and their families. STRIVE provides services onsite at the Little Rock School District, North Little Rock School District, Pulaski County Special School District, at children’s homes, and at the STRIVE outpatient clinic. STRIVE therapists are trained to provide:
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy
- Trauma-informed care
For adults, the Center for Trauma Prevention, Recovery and Innovation acts as a specialty clinic within the Walker Family Clinic that provides evidence-based trauma-focused treatments including:
- Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
- Prolonged Exposure (PE)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Group therapy
- Basic Skills for Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- CPR for PTSD: How to Calm and Prevent Re-Alarm for PTSD
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Trauma-informed psychiatric services
