Educational

  • 504 Plans – A 504 Plan can help students with learning issues, attention issues and other disabilities, who meet certain criteria, access the general education classroom without any barriers.
  • Bullying – Arkansas law defines bullying as the intentional harassment, intimidation, humiliation, ridicule, defamation or threat or incitement of violence by a student against another student.
  • Individualized Education Program – An IEP is a written plan specifically designed to meet a child’s learning needs.
  • Special Education Referrals – Referral is made for the purpose of gathering information about a child experiencing problems which interfere with learning.

Nutritional

  • The Traffic Light Eating Plan – The Traffic Light Eating Plan makes it easier to choose the foods that will keep you as healthy and strong as possible throughout your life.
  • Nutrition and Stimulants – For children on stimulants, it is very hard to eat lunch. Most children will tolerate this if they eat well when the stimulant has worn off and if they have something healthy to drink such as milk, Boost or a smoothie at lunch.
