The Brain Imaging Research Center at UAMS is looking for adult men and women to participate in a study investigating brain function among healthy people who have overcome childhood abuse or neglect.
We are recruiting men and women between the ages 18 and 40 who:
- Do not have current or past addiction
- Have experienced childhood trauma like abuse or neglect
What we would ask you to do in our research studies:
- Complete a confidential interview with a trained interviewer (approximately 2-3 hours)
- Attend a second visit to allow us to take pictures of your brain using MRI (a safe, non-invasive brain imaging method, lasting approximately one hour)
Individuals who qualify and participate will be compensated for their time.
