Brain Imaging Research Core
The Brain Imaging Research Center’s Brain Imaging Research Core is a pay-per-use service allowing external researchers the opportunity to utilize our facility and personnel resources. Interested investigators should have a research focus of adequate scientific merit and must have or plan to obtain approval from the UAMS Institutional Review Board for the applicable protocol.

MRI Policies and Procedures
The Brain Imaging Research Center has a zero-tolerance policy for adverse events in the scanner environment. External investigators should review our MRI policies and procedures.
Protocol Review Process
Interested investigators must submit the most recent protocol and consent form for review by the faculty and relevant staff within the Brain Imaging Research Center. Addition of Brain Imaging Research Center-specific language must be included in the final approved version of protocol and consent forms. External investigators must also meet with the Brain Imaging Research Center director and relevant staff to review the protocol prior to data collection.
