About: This conference is dedicated to educating and inspiring college students interested in pursuing behavioral health careers. Participants will have opportunities to learn from experts, ask questions, and connect with peers who share an interest in promoting mental wellness and supporting individuals and communities. Our goal is to empower the next generation of behavioral health professionals by providing knowledge, guidance, and inspiration to help students make informed decisions about their academic and career journeys.

Learning Objectives:

1) Increase Awareness of Behavioral Health Careers

Introduce students to the wide range of career paths within behavioral health, including mental health counseling, psychology, social work, psychiatry, and related fields.

2) Provide Foundational Knowledge

Educate participants on the core concepts of behavioral health and the role these professionals play in supporting individual and community well-being.

3) Clarify Educational and Training Pathways

Explain academic requirements, certifications, licensure processes, and graduate training options needed for various behavioral health professions.

4) Highlight Real-World Experiences

Share practical insights from professionals currently working in the field to help students understand day-to-day responsibilities, challenges, and rewards.
