The faculty and staff of the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute Northwest invite you to attend the first Northwest Arkansas Schizophrenia Conference to learn more about PRI – Northwest’s new Odyssey Clinic Northwest, which treats patients with first-episode psychosis in the region. This conference aims to increase knowledge about schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders as well as their treatment via medications, therapy, and other vital supports. Speakers will include UAMS faculty and nationally renowned leaders in treatment and research. Personal stories from people whose lives have been touched by psychosis will also be included. Information regarding continuing education credits will be coming soon.
The conference, which will be held at the Fayetteville Town Center located at 15 West Mountain, Fayetteville, AR, 72701, is open to all interested health care and mental health professionals as well as patients and their family members who want to learn more about these conditions and how to treat them.
There is no cost to attend the conference. Refreshments will be available; local restaurants and food trucks will be available for attendees. Limited parking will be available as well at the Town Center Parking Deck.
