Dr. Breckling is a board-certified ambulatory care clinical pharmacist. Her current research focuses on utilizing pharmacist-led interventions to improve access to medications for opioid use disorder and harm reduction services such as naloxone. The population of focus for this research includes participants who are currently incarcerated and have screened positive for stimulant use and/or opioid use disorders. Another research focus utilizes academic detailing interventions to provide outreach education to health-care professionals across Arkansas on the most up to date evidence-based information on the topics of chronic pain management and substance use disorder treatment.
