Research Expertise

Dr. Kramer is a clinical psychologist with specialized training in child assessment and therapy. Her research has focused on adolescent depression and substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, and mental health outcomes in treatment-seeking populations. She has expertise in forming community partnerships, conducting needs assessments, and monitoring fidelity of community practices. She currently directs a statewide program to improve care for children exposed to trauma and conducts research in this area.

Research Interests: Substance use, rural communities, PTSD, faith-based communities
