Like the six bridges that connect Little Rock and North Little Rock, the Six Bridges Clinic at the Psychiatric Research Institute connects patients with the kind of care only this clinic can provide. The Six Bridges Clinic offers assistance to Arkansas residents between the ages of 12 and 21 who are dealing with substance dependency.
The Six Bridges Clinic, a collaboration with Arkansas Children’s and funded by a grant from the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas, provides adolescents and young adults with evidence-based and coordinated care, including:
- Screening and referral;
- Intake and evaluation;
- Treatment – individual and family therapy, medication evaluation and management;
- Ongoing recovery.
Dr. Srinivasa Gokarakonda, M.D., is the clinic’s medical director. There are no requirements to make an appointment. Patients may self-refer. Referrals are only necessary to satisfy individual insurance requirements.
