STRIVE (Seeking To Reinforce my Identity and Values Everyday) is a school and community-based mental health outreach program that has been serving students and their families for over 20 years. Our program mission is to provide mental health services to students who are having emotional and/or behavioral issues in school and at home so that they learn new skills needed to be successful in life. We provide services onsite at the Little Rock School District, North Little Rock School District, Pulaski County Special School District, at children’s homes, and at our STRIVE clinic. Our outpatient clinic office is located at 4701 Fairway Ave. in North Little Rock.
STRIVE primarily treats children ages preschool through high school graduation, along with their parents or guardians. Our program has highly trained specialists who can provide individualized treatment plans for children and families to address any emotional and behavioral issues. Children referred to our program will receive a thorough assessment, which consists of clinical interviews, mental status exams, and reviews of existing evaluation or historical information. Based on the assessment, treatment is initiated or appropriate referrals are made for psychological evaluations and subsequent treatment plan recommendations.
