The UAMS Department of Psychiatry is hosting a wellness conference for mental-health professionals on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Hospital Lobby Gallery. “Hope for the Healing Heart” is open to physicians, nurses, social workers, counselors and psychologists from all over Arkansas. The event is free; parking on campus is $7, a boxed lunch is available for $8 and CME credit for attending the event will cost $5. Cash and checks will be accepted the day of the event. The UAMS College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
