Naomi Elliott, LCSW, a case manager on PRI’s women’s inpatient unit, was named the UAMS MVP for the month of February.

Elliott, who was recognized by UAMS Chancellor Cam Patterson on Feb. 11, “always goes above and beyond for patients on the unit and will often be one step ahead in providing follow-up care. Naomi makes a difference every day for women who are on the unit and are often at one of the most difficult and vulnerable times of their lives,” wrote her nominator. “She provides resources to help them outside of the hospital and is willing to go the extra mile to get the best plans for her patients. She is one of the most valuable assets of the Women’s Unit at PRI.”
A photo of Elliott was added to the Employee Appreciation Wall outside the Chancellor’s Suite in the Central Building and she was featured in a “Faces of UAMS” video. She was also recognized at a meeting of the chancellor’s cabinet, where she received a certificate and monetary award.
