At the Psychiatric Research Institute’s Women’s Mental Health Program, our caring and compassionate specialists offer a wide range of services to increase your quality of life. The integration of mind, body and spirit is an important goal for women’s health, yet various life events may negatively affect your ability to achieve such balance. At PRI, we are here to help when you are pregnant, postpartum or having difficulty getting pregnant and struggling with mental health issues with or without substance abuse.
Postpartum depression, miscarriage, loss, major transitions, illness and other physical changes may overwhelm your ability to cope and may place you at risk for depression, anxiety, grief or other emotional responses that disrupt daily living.
The Women’s Mental Health Program is a self-referral clinic. Although PRI does not require a referral for this clinic, some insurance providers require a referral for specialty care. Please check with your insurance provider prior to requesting an appointment.
What should I bring to the appointment?
For your first appointment, please bring a photo ID and your insurance card along with the completed intake packet that was sent to you when you made your appointment. You should also bring any medical records you can provide, including slides or test results from other clinics.
For future appointments, please provide updated medical and insurance information.
How do I request a prescription refill or contact a nurse from the clinic?
It is preferable to request prescription refills during your scheduled appointment. If refills are needed at other times, please call the clinic at 501-526-8209.
