This summer and early fall (2026), PRI’s Six Bridges Clinic, through support from the Arkansas Department of Human Services, is bringing adolescent substance use disorder (SUD) training and resources to Arkansas, free of charge.
Trainings are designed for clinicians and providers who work with adolescents, particularly those encountering substance use disorders in their practice. Virtual as well as in-person à la carte-style trainings will be available plus offerings at the Six Bridges Summit June 25-26 and the 2026 Arkansas Behavioral Health Institute in late August.
Resources are designed for families, adolescents, and providers—to equip them with general knowledge, strategies for prevention, and treatment support. A host of materials ranging from digital to print will be made available at no cost.

Purpose
The Six Bridges State Opioid Response (SOR) Project is a grant-funded initiative supported by the Arkansas Department of Human Services, working to expand access to opioid use disorder treatment and recovery services across Arkansas. Housed within the UAMS Psychiatric Research Institute, the project brings together clinical expertise, community partnerships, and statewide outreach to address gaps in care facing rural communities throughout the state. Through coordinated programming across multiple workstreams, Six Bridges connects Arkansans to the education, treatment, and support they need to build lasting recovery.
