Veronica Raney, M.D., has been named interim director of the UAMS Department of Psychiatry’s Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a 2011 graduate of the UAMS College of Medicine and former resident with the Department of Psychiatry and will also serve as the section chief for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH).
An assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Raney completed fellowships in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry before joining PRI’s Child Study Center as medical director in 2016. She is also co-director of the Childhood Post-Infectious Autoimmune Encephalopathy Clinic at ACH.
